War of Portugal: Official Write-Up

Wow, that didn't go as many thought it would. What seemed to be a perfect opportunity for The Big Egos to get revenge on the Kung Fu Pandas, turned into just more wins and land for the Kung Fu Pandas. Going into Battle 1 and even after Battle 1, I thought The Big Egos had this war in the bag. Not so fast said the Kung Fu Pandas. Buddyfrosty averaged 18 kills per battle after Battle 2, which ended in a draw. The Big Egos had a total of 146 points throughout the whole war and it still wasn't enough to beat the Kung Fu Pandas, who had a total of 190 points!

Kevin went into this war with vengeance in mind. He trained his team really hard going into Battle 1, and it paid off. But something happened to his team after Battle 1. They seemed complacent and it showed. They tied 36-36 with the Kung Fu Pandas. He wouldn't speak for an interview after that game. Battle 3 the Kung Fu Pandas won 38-13, the margin of victory being 25! We interviewed him after that battle and he said his team would win in a close won in Battle 4. Everyone thought it would be a close game, but most thought the Kung Fu Pandas would win. The Kung Fu Pandas did win, but it wasn't close. They won by 18 points, which was closer than battle 3. Battle 5 was the closest since Battle 1, with the score being 35-30 Kung Fu Pandas. They seems to be an absolute powerhouse and some are wondering if they can be stopped.

Buddyfrosty and his team stayed humble in their victory, saying "It was a well fought war, props to The Big Egos, they played us the hardest we have experienced. And now we just have to move on and keep training"

The next war will be the War of Germany. We have yet to find out all the teams participating, but there will be at least 3.

War of Portugal Battle 3

The battle started off very tight with The Big Egos winning 7-5 but they changed fast as Buddyfrosty, the leader of Kung Fu Pandas, got a total of 21 kills, whereas The Big Egos leader Kevin only had 6. The final score was 38-13 with the Kung Fu Pandas winning. The momentum seems to have turned for the Kung Fu Pandas as they lost Battle 1 39-43 and tied Battle 2 36-36. After the battle we interviewed both team leaders. We asked how Buddyfrosty convinced his team they were still in this and how he trained his team to have such a hard fought victory.

"After Battle 1, they all seemed discouraged after that 4 point loss, but I reminded them that we defeated The Big Egos twice before to win the War of Spain, and they seemed to be a lot more encouraged. After that I started training them against each other, rather than them training against bots which is what they used to do. I also started training them against me 1 on 1 or 3 vs me. That really paid off for us."

We then asked Kevin what happened to his team.

"I think we just got way too comfortable in this Battle and in Battle 2 as well. I think this loss is a wake up call for all of us and we are going to be training hard for Battle 4. Expect a close battle."

Now for my predictions for the War of Portugal and the next battle:

Battle 4 Predictions: I think Kevin is right, it will be a close battle. But not the way he is expecting it. I expect the Kung Fu Pandas to win by 3 points, with Buddyfrosty having a total of only 15 kills compared to his 21 in Battle 3.

Final Score Prediction: 36-33 Kung Fu Pandas

War of Portugal Prediction: My prediction is the Kung Fu Pandas win the War of Portugal in Battle 5 with the final score of that battle being 35-34.

That's all for now folks!
